CHAIRMAN'S CHAT

It is with great sorrow that we are all lessened by the death of Colin Miller. A great talent and a great friend - he will be much missed and our love goes out to Sue and her family. Cudos did well to sing with such gusto through their tears at the funeral. God bless you Colin.

On a personal note may I thank everyone who was connected with Bazaar and Rummage - it was a great play and the cast were stupendous. Many thanks to all the usual team and also to Lucy who put in so much enthusiasm. Congratulations to all who received a nomination at the Cinderella Cup Awards. I am delighted at the enthusiasm in the Society for 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ - see you at the auditions. Polly x

Another success for CUDOS , a thought provoking play with music which was well received by our audiences. Congratulations to Kerry Peters on receiving the Luvvies Award for her role as Margaret. Well done Polly and the cast of six ‘neurotic women’ et al’

MURDER MYSTERY DINNER 15 July

We are pleased to announce the postponed “School Reunion” murder mystery hosted by Ann and Polly will now take place on Saturday 15th July. Cost £10 to include 3 course dinner (please bring your own drinks, glasses will be provided). RELAY FOR LIFE 22nd July

We are supporting this local event by singing for approx. 25-30 minutes at 2:30pm on July 22nd at Wadham School. Dendy is overseeing this and we meet again at 7:45pm on Monday 22nd May in the Victoria Hall. There will be 3 rehearsals on Sundays 2nd/9th/16th July at 2:30pm in the Victoria Hall, all are welcome to participate including junior members.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of one of our members, Colin Miller. Colin joined the family only a few years ago and soon became an invaluable member with his tremendous drumming skills and always a great help at set builds. We showed him our appreciation when we voted for him to receive the Neill McClintock trophy for outstanding contribution over the year. Colin will be greatly missed and we send all our love and thoughts to his wife Sue and the rest of his family.xxx
