CHAIRMAN'S CHAT

Hi all and welcome to the new CUDOS year. I'd like to thank our retiring chairman Polly for her hard work over the last three years and welcome her on to the Committee along with new member Leonie. Thank you also to Beth who has stood down from the Committee.

Rehearsals are going well for Don't Dress for Dinner so make sure you support your Society and get your tickets now. We have some great shows and social events to look forward to this year so I'm looking forward to catching up with you all then. Kerry.x

WALKING TREASURE HUNT - Sat 14th July

Lucy Singleton and partner John are holding a Walking Treasure Hunt price £6 each to include food (bring your own drinks, alcoholic/soft). Children under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. The first team will start at 2pm and then at 10-minute intervals. Starting location to be confirmed. If you can’t make the treasure hunt you can join us at 6pm – let Wendy know when you book your place.

The treasure hunt will end at Lucy and Johns (69 North Street – parking available) where food and frivolities will finish off a fun afternoon. Names and money to Wendy by 30th June please.

THE BIG SLEEP OUT UNDER THE STARS

The proceeds from the draw at the dinner dance and collection box in lieu of sending each other Christmas cards were donated to the Taunton Association for the Homeless and they have invited us to join them at the Big Sleep Out being held at Taunton Football Club on Friday 8th June.
