CHAIRMAN'S CHAT
Thanks to everyone who attended the AGM - it was a good turnout and everyone enjoyed the drinks and nibbles afterwards - thank you Ann and Kerry. High point of the evening was Josh's face when he won the Audrey Stokes award - I now really understand the expression gobsmacked.
Sorry that the Murder Mystery had to be postponed but there was just too much going on to be able to make the necessary number but it will happen later in the year so watch out for a date soon.
We are hurtling towards the play now and it is going very well - Thank you so much Ann for taking over next week when I am visiting my family in the north. It is a very funny but very moving play and I know I will be shedding a few tears even though I know it so well so do come and support the cast. See you there, Polly

RELAY FOR LIFE 22nd July
As posted in the February newsletter, we are to support this event at Wadham School which is raising money for cancer research, by giving a short concert of 25/30 minutes at 2.30pm. All are welcome to take part including Junior Members. Dendy is kindly overseeing this and is to have a short get together for anyone who is interested on Monday 15th May at 7.30pm in The Victoria Hall.
We envisage having a couple of rehearsals closer to the date. If you can’t make the 15th May, please email Dendy on dendy@hotmail.co.uk to say you would like to be involved so she has an idea of who would like to take part.
Congratulations to Patron Colin Coggan who has been awarded the title Honoured Citizen of Crewkerne, in recognition of service to the Town and Townspeople.

The death has been announced of Freddie Greenop. In the past Freddie wrote reviews of our productions for local newspapers and was a member of the SFD. We send our condolences to his daughter Mary-Beth and family.
