Chairman’s Chat
Happy New Year to all of you and I hope you had a fantastic Christmas. We are now deep into panto rehearsals with only a few left before show week. Ticket sales have been fantastic so make sure you don't miss out,the cast and production crew have been working very hard. Thank you to all who donated into the Christmas tin,we raised £81.50 for the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group in memory of Miles Browning. Don't forget to keep looking out for future events and shows to get involved in, your society needs you. Hope to see many of you at panto. Kerry.xx
DINNER DANCE
A great time was had at the dinner dance in November, yummy food excellent band and the hall decorated in 1980s ‘Prom’ style to create a good ambience .The draw raised £125, again for the Myotopic Dystrophy Support Group. Thank you Rob and your team for all your hard work.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Another successful sellout concert, a lovely start to Christmas and always enjoyed by the audiences, making a good profit. Thank you John and Lucy Perry for your Directing and Musical Direction.
CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL/CAROL SINGING Thank you to all who participated in the carol singing at the Lighting Up Ceremony and to all involved in decorating the CUDOS Christmas Tree in St Barts. Congratulations to ‘Odd Readers’ (all CUDOS members) who won Best Tree.

We are almost there...oh yes we are… only two weeks to go. Rehearsals are going really well and tickets are selling fast. Matinee is sold out but there are still a few tickets available for other performances.

The Awards evening is on 7th March at Taunton Cricket Club. Wendy is to organise the CUDOS ticket application, details will be on the Sound of Music facebook page as soon as we receive them. If you would like to attend please let her know asap to enable us to hopefully get the number of tickets we would like.

George Flint is to direct ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ with Matt Holmes as Musical Director and Lisa Gage as Choreographer. Workshop/audition dates etc will be posted soon.

Voting forms for your new Committee and further information will be sent out after the Panto.
Miles left some money to buy his CUDOS friends a drink so we will raise a glass to Miles at the end of business at the AGM.
